Yom Kippur (Hebrew: יוֹם כִּיפּוּר), also known as Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Yom Kippur completes the annual period known in Judaism as the High Holy Days (or sometimes “the Days of Awe”). Kol Nidrei, Hebrew for “All Vows,” is the evening service of Yom Kippur. In the Church of Jesus Christ in Christian Fellowship we will start and celebrate Yom Kippur with open temple worship. All are invited to attend, endowed Latter Day Saints of all denominations are invited to participate. Worthiness is up to each individual. We will be performing all four of the Endowments of the Priesthood.
Yom Kippur will begin in the evening of Wednesday, September 15 and ends in the evening of Thursday, September 16.
